Job description
Analyst Interns will conduct all-source collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination to produce analytic articles, series, and reports.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Assisting the analytic team with all-source collection and production of articles, series and reports
Produce a weekly article related to terrorism, defence, crime, geopolitics, security, espionage, and tradecraft (±2500 words).
Produce a weekly Intelligence Series or Report (700 words).
Experience & Qualifications
Essentials
- Able to meet last-minute requests and stick to deadlines;
- An understanding of OSINT techniques;
- Willingness to learn and ask questions when necessary;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Proactive, with the ability to work, when required, under minimum supervision;
- Passion for intelligence operations, analysis, counterintelligence, security, and cybersecurity with the determination to start a career in these disciplines;
- Competent in social media and Microsoft Office package;
- Ability to defend your analytic judgment and voice opinions towards senior team members.
Good to have
- In-depth knowledge about the Security, Military, and Intel affairs;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- An understanding of SATs;
- Language skills Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Swahili, or Spanish);
- Undergrad degree in relevant subject;
- Prior Military, Police or Intel experience is beneficial but not essential;
- Data visualisation skills are more than welcome!
- Basic understanding of SEO, WordPress, ClickUp, and Slack.
