Anti-French Sentiments in Africa: A Geopolitical Shift

In recent years, a wave of harsh criticism aimed at France has swept through several African countries. French involvement in the affairs of its former colonies is seen as a new form of colonialism. The failures of French military operations in the Sahel and widespread Russian disinformation targeting France have contributed. Thus, anti-French sentiments in Africa will continue to rise through the next 24 months.
