Africa is once again becoming one of the major battlegrounds for competing world powers. China and Russia are increasingly present throughout the continent in various forms. After the distancing taken by the former Trump administration, current US interest in Sub-Saharan Africa is rising. The economic potential, security environment, and growth in the space sector make up three primary spheres of this revived commitment. The US-Africa summit in Washington D.C. from the 13th to the 15th of December 2022 further confirms this upward trend.
