China Strategic Ambitions in Morocco: An Analysis

Morocco has quickly taken on a pivotal role in North Africa. China has identified the value of Morocco from a diplomatic, economic, and security perspective and has therefore decided to expand its influence within the country. The country and region has also acted as a battle for influence between the United States and China. The stakes are rising as tensions between the two world powers deteriorate.
