Germany is seeking energy partners in Africa since Russian gas stopped flowing through the Nordic Stream 2 and the invasion of Ukraine. Since the end of 2022, Germany has constructed new LNG terminals at Mukran and Brunsbuettel to import natural gas. Additionally, the war has pushed the country to look for renewable energy.
