HTS-led Syria: Security and Police Restructuring

The HTS-led transitional government reportedly is implementing Islamic law-related reforms in its reorganization of police and security forces. This is happening in the context of the late 2024 fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, which profoundly affected the Syrian security landscape.
