The Political, Social, and Economic Climate in Italy: A 12-Month Outlook

The national elections of 25 September 2022 represent a watershed in Italy’s history. Indeed, the landslide victory of “Fratelli d’Italia” (Brothers of Italy, FdI) brought for the first time a far-right party to the lead of the government coalition after the fall of fascism in 1943.
